Grey, The Artist

I like to think of grey as an artist waiting for the right company of colors so he can release the beautiful masterpieces hidden within. Grey reminds me of beautiful stormy skies, and I love stormy skies because they are so magnificently expressive. 

Grey is a calming, neutral color and works with every decor. Darker shades are an alternative to black, lighter shades an alternative to white. Lovely as grey is, it can be cold and dull, but mix it with the right colors, and the effect is exciting. Grey and orange work really well together. Grey can be used beautifully in period or fresh, sharp modern styles. Afternoon Tea

Once I did not understand my father’s love  affair with tea, but now I share it. I love tea, maybe a little more than I should. Elegant tea drinking is part of a beautiful interiors and pretty things lifestyle. Imagine gently sipping fine, delicate tea from a gorgeous vintage floral cup, seated in a beautiful room, overlooking a pretty garden...it’s the epitome of bliss. I just love beautiful teaware.

Pink, beautiful pink, is the colour which inspires. The colour pink inspires to be in love. And to dream of the beauty of beautiful things. The colour pink is beautiful is in its complexion. Pink is the colour of love. Some shades add excitement to a room, others are more restful and romantic. Pink is modern, pink is vintage, I love pink. I must have splashes of pink around me, dusty shades are gorgeous.
